Refresh your wardrobe this spring with a little help from Goodwill

Give spring cleaning a whole new meaning this year when you distance yourself from a few of those “so last year” spring clothing items and refresh your look with a little help from Goodwill. As we anticipate the long-awaited change of season and prepare to welcome spring, bag up the old stuff, donate them to Goodwill, then go on the world’s most massive treasure hunt inside any one of Goodwill’s 18 retail stores. Need a few shopping ideas? Say no more; we’ve got your back!

Brighten things up! Show off your adventurous side with a hint of drama when you add fluorescent colors to your wardrobe mix. Set off a pair of black or white shorts with a neon tank or tee and leave them speechless. Not ready for quite a bold move, then start small with a piece of neon jewelry like a bracelet or necklace.

It’s better in Bermuda! These are not your mother’s Bermuda shorts; well, they could be when you shop Goodwill. But, that’s not such a bad thing because this year Bermuda shorts have made a come back in a significant way! Put a twist on a classic business suit and trade out the long pants for a pair of Bermuda shorts and go part nine-to-five and part ‘Cali Cool’ to the office shindig.

What could be better than spring flowers? We agree with you, absolutely nothing! So grab as many floral patterns as you can for your spring collection and feel like you’re on your way to that tropical vacation destination and instantly feel an island breeze, just think Beyonce hair blowing as she takes the stage.

Goodwill appreciates the very generous donations from our loyal supporters. However, at times, we may not be able to accommodate an item due to its condition, or more often, due to EPA regulations that may require special handling and processing. Also, there may be costs associated with the disposal of severely damaged items or again, those items that require special handling like removing freon from a refrigerator.
